One of our clients in Goa approached us with a problem of corrosion. During the site audit, it was meticulously observed and examined that pipeline structures had been severely corroded because of moisture gathered by water from the cooling towers.
An anti-inflammatory corrosion coating, known as Pidilite Cyclo 101, was applied on the pipelines located at the cooling tower. The overall process involved surface preparation by brush and fresh water. After allowing the area to dry completely, two coats of Cyclo 101 were applied with a thickness of total 500 microns.
After 2 months, inspection was carried out and despite the rainy season, no corrosion was found. Pidilite was thus, successfully able to help another client in distress.
