Fevicol SP-5 M is a synthetic rubber based, solvent borne contact adhesive. It has good resistance to heat, fast initial strength, and excellent contact capability.

Technical Specification

  • Appearance: Pale yellow liquid
  • Solid content: 19 to 20 %
  • Viscosity: 80 to 150 cP
  • Dilute/cleaner: Toluene
  • Drying time: Maximum 2 to 3 minutes
  • Tack retention time: Minimum 30 minutes
  • Softening temperature: Minimum 105° C
  • Peel strength: Minimum 1.2 kg/inch

Application of Product

  • Apt for spray applications
  • Used in the automotive industry as a high performance trim adhesive
  • Can be used to form a strong permanent contact bond between painted steel, plywood, chipboard, polyurethane foam, muslin, foam rubber, felt, supported PVC sheet fabrics, leather etc.
